It is what it is.

First shots with my new street photography set-up: Canon 5D MII + Canon 40mm 2.8. I walked 16 km. I made Chapultepec park. The location where I realized that People of Chapultepec for Leica Camera AG in 2013. Not a place easy to shoot.

Overcast skies. I also had my Canon 7 with me, with which I finished my last roll of black and white. From now on, barring any exceptions, I'll only use color film. This is to keep the already insane costs of shooting with my rangefinder down.

I can truly shoot with any camera, and what I find is consistency. I'm faithful to my language, to the way I present my photography, yes, to my vision. At this point the eventual change of camera is only due to a desire to have a certain type of camera and not for the result of the image. Knowing that my work is so appreciated that it's been published in internationally renowned journals, I have nothing left to prove; I simply need to communicate through my way of looking at the world. And what is most important is to have authorship and a very personal photography. That is my mantra right now.
