A street photographer from the barrio

Like blood my life flows through the images I make. Josef Koudelka said a great phrase: I don't care who you claim to be, the really important thing is what you do to be it.

Shopping Cart - Mexico City, 2021

My life is the one that produces the photography I propose.

It seems banal but it is not. I am not a tourist in my life but a traveler and therefore this reflects my being a photographer. My photography is connected with my life and not with what I see on instagram.

Living in a popular neighborhood in Mexico City necessarily gives you a spectrum of intense experiences that can't be found anywhere else. My voice is therefore the voice of the barrio.
