Between Selfies and Self Portraits, my series

Throughout the course of photography history, many masters have measured themselves with the art of self-portraiture. If we think it is an inevitable process since art leads you to a comparison and knowledge with yourself. One of my photographic heroes is Lee Friedlander who also has a couple of books dedicated to self-portraits.

For my series I used the double exposure technique, obviously made directly with the camera. For these portraits I have produced myself in interpretations so, even if I shot using the extension of my arms, it would be improper to simply call them selfies. For me it is exactly a work halfway between self-portrait and selfie.
