Film is still the best photography school
Guys, don’t forget the pleasure to shoot film. To my students I recommend always to keep at least a spare time for analog photography. Because analog photography offers you a lot to help you grow as a photographer. You don’t need necessarily a Leica camera. Remember that always depends on you and your approach. Claude Nori, for example, French photographer and Luigi Ghirri’s friend has always preferred point & shoot cameras.
The photograph you see above I made it with a Nikon L35 AF. And I chose this to emphasize the beauty of imperfection which is one of the reasons why I continue to enjoy the pleasure of film photography.
I still photograph with this camera. And with Olympus Stylus and Olympus Trip 505. Because film is not dead.
