Gestalt Street Photographer and forms inside the frame

I written a lot about the importance to know the Gestalt psychology. The absorption of these notions can represent a great asset for our growth as proponents of visual content. I bring you my direct experience.

Of course I am not the first one and the unique photographer to support this idea. The Gestalt psychologists said us that humans are able to perceive objects as organized ones naturally.

The Gestalt law of good form describes the tendency of an individual to perceive forms of similar shape, form, color, pattern, and other attributes in group.

The principle of good continuity supports the idea that humans tend to perceive each of two or more objects as different, singular, and uninterrupted object even when they intersect. In particular individuals tend to group together as well as organize curves, lines and other forms that are found in similar directions.

The Gestalt law of common fate explains that humans perceive visual elements that move in the same speed and/or direction as parts of a single stimulus. Now look the picture highlighted in this way:

In my photography the principle of good form is highlighted by similar form of the triangles. The good continuity prionciple is respected by the similar directions and so the common fate.
