How I became a photographer for L’EQUIPE

Sharing in this video some thoughts about the last assignment

During my career some important and international brands hired me. In particular I would remember: Burberry, Leica, Samsung. With the assignment for L’EQUIPE another important milestone for my career has been achieved and that is a great and this is a great motivation for my future in photography business.

I am aware that not many photographers can boast clients of this importance, but this does not stop me from keeping my feet on the ground. Staying humble and still hungry to learn is what has brought me great results. Everything I have achieved I have done through my attitude of not compromising, of not looking for shortcuts and above all what I have done I owe only to myself, to the many sacrifices and the professionalism I have in accepting jobs.

Nobody helped me. But I could count on the support of my wife and my family. Who, especially in the most difficult moments, always knew how to stay by my side, continuing to believe in me. Even when it wasn't so easy for me to do it. This job has ups and downs and if you don't have a balanced head you really can't do it.

A few years ago Bild contacted me: they wanted to hire me for a job that was always linked to the world of football but unfortunately I couldn't accept that job because I was in Italy with commitments already made and the job was in Mexico. Very reluctantly I had to say no and I thought that was a missed train forever. Now L’EQUIPE arrived to give me this opportunity and I immediately accepted. With enthusiasm and with complete certainty that I was the ideal photographer for the job they proposed to me.

The first appointment with my coverages for L’Equipe is scheduled for the December issue of France Football. I will inform you when will be available.
