Humanist observation in Street Photography
Old School. Old School Street Photography. Based on characters, gestures and expressions. The humanist gaze indulges in the realistic view of the world.
Reality is welcomed as it is in your lens. The photographer includes a portion of reality in the frame.
Offering a portion of reality by embedding it inside the composition becomes a declaration of intent of the humanist street photographer. In photos like this, think in layers is useful to the way of composing. My shooting is based on the metabolization of the rhythm on the street.
My street photography doesn’t seek the absurd side. It doesn’t want to feed on optical illusions. That is not the goal. It would not make sense. Humanity and its tragedy and its joy are already enough to be the main theme.
I observe how in two years the facts have evolved rapidly. We are experiencing one of the most terrible and dangerous phases in the history of all humanity. I am disgusted with the dogs of war of any place. Only love and photography are an oasis right now.
