In Italy there are still some signs of my work
On FOTOIT, Italian printed magazine, talking about the history of Street Photography is recognized my work also as a promoter and popularizer:
It is virtually the same text published by Attilio Laura in a article on FIAF:
Alex Coghe (1975) has been dedicated to street photography since 2009, he moved to Mexico in 2010, and is among the first in Italy to create a virtual web community dedicated to "Street Photography"; he is very active on the web and through various blogs over the years establishes contacts with the main photographic brands bringing them closer to the genre and constantly propagates it through contests, magazines, e-books, workshops and training of groups and collectives such as "La Strada".
Seeing my work recognized is important to give dimension to those who have only recently approached street photography of who I am and what I have done, as a photographer, photo editor, brand ambassador, writer and educator. It is not something I need for myself: I know perfectly what I did and what I do. But these are times that move quickly and everything can be lost in a short time.
From 2007 to today nothing has changed for me. I'm the same street photographer who has the same enthusiasm, the flame of passion never went out, I'm just more mature. And I consider myself a certainly better photographer today. Even better than two years ago. And I feel I still have room for improvement. I continue to study and renew myself in this wonder of the world called photography.
Thanks FOTOIT, Mignon Photography, FIAF, Attilio Lauria and Fiammetta Rubini to inform me about this publication.
