My model: a transparent website

A professional photographer needs to count with an official website, and with certain things to consider.

As photographers, our websites are more than just a digital presence: they are the ultimate representation of who we are as creatives and professionals. Whether you’re an art director looking for a collaborator, a model in need of a portrait photographer, or a client interested in workshops or photo expeditions, my goal is to ensure my website offers transparency, clarity, and a strong sense of who I am both as an individual and as a photographer.

Here’s how I structure my website to achieve this:

1. A Portfolio That Speaks Volumes

A well-curated portfolio is the cornerstone of any photography website. It’s the place where I showcase my best and most representative work. Each image is carefully selected to reflect the quality, diversity, and consistency of my photography. My goal is for visitors to immediately understand my visual style and what I can offer. I am essentially a street documentary and portrait photographer and that is what I need to show in my portfolio.

2. A Blog with Unique and Engaging Content

Since 2011 the blog is the beating heart of my official website, refined year after year, showing my journey into the photography business, A blog is where I dive deeper, sharing the stories behind my images, tips for aspiring photographers, or insights into my creative process. The content isn’t generic: it’s tailored to stand out. Whether I’m writing about a recent photo series or sharing lessons from my street photography experiences, my blog is designed to educate, inspire, and connect with my audience.

3. Consistent Updates on My Photographic Journey

Every week, I publish updates about my ongoingwork on the street. It’s a way to document my journey and show my growth as a street photographer. Monthly highlights, on the other hand, summarize my achievements and key moments, offering a snapshot of my work over time. It represents to me the opportunity to take stock and better understand where I'm going.

4. A Transparent Client List and Pricing

Transparency is fundamental to building trust. My website includes a list of prominent clients I’ve worked with, showcasing my experience and credibility. Additionally, I provide a clear breakdown of my service prices. Whether it’s a portrait session, a workshop, or a photography expedition, potential clients can find all the information they need without having to ask.

5. An Up-to-Date Equipment List

For some clients, especially art directors, knowing the tools I use can be important. My website includes an updated list of my equipment, reflecting my commitment to professionalism and my ability to handle various works with the right gear. By the moment I am not ambassador it is pretty clear that I am not promoting a particular brand, but I think is important the clients knows what is the gear I am using.

6. An “About” Page Full of Personality

The "About" page is one of the most important sections of my site. It’s where I share my story, my philosophy as a photographer, and what drives me to create. I aim to be generous with information, giving visitors a clear picture of who I am, not just as a professional, but as a person. In the about page there is the opportunity to see me in some video interviews, busy while working, of course my goals but also I am revealing personal things of me through the get to know questions.

7. Designed for Everyone

While my website is crafted with art directors in mind, those critical decision-makers who can hire me for major assignments, it’s also welcoming to all clients. Whether someone is looking for a photographer for a portrait session, a workshop attendee, or even a model seeking collaboration, my site is designed to address their needs.

8. Clarity Above All

No information is hidden or omitted. I believe in complete transparency, offering visitors a clear, straightforward experience that builds trust and confidence in my services.

By keeping these principles at the heart of my website, I create a space that not only represents who I am as a photographer but also serves as a reliable resource for anyone interested in working with me.

Whether you’re an industry professional or a passionate individual looking to learn or collaborate, I invite you to explore my site, discover my work, and connect with me on this creative journey.
