My Street Photography in Mexico City

Mexico City seems like New York City in the 60s. This fact made it ideal city for Street Photography . This is now. This is despite the tough times the world is living since 3 years.

The date. Alex Coghe, 2022

A snapshot of the encounter. A vibrant shot. Moved because it makes sense that way.

A photograph that is full even if unbalanced. Or maybe it's a balanced imbalance. A shot that takes into account myself, moving in the street, feeling, sensing, recognizing and finally shooting.

The end of the process is recognition and shooting to me. The end of the process, yes, is on the street. Where the photo was born. And not in the coldness of posthumous consideration. Photography that is alive and vibrates with energy. Photography, the nervous act of my research.

A portion of life, made mine. The essence of street photography, without rules and rather like catching the wave, like the jump of a parkour at the last useful moment, like the slalom of a skateboard in the middle of traffic.
