On a Saturday morning, in December

One morning. Photographing in the city. Old Town. The shots:

A democratic vision that prioritizes everything that seemed interesting to me, or rather that resembled photography.

An atypical Saturday morning in which I moved away from the mere historic center because it was a bit limp, looking for more urbanism. And then dive into Zona Rosa. While Morocco beat Portugal I was photographing which for me corresponds to living and being aware of what is happening.

In this post I inaugurate a preset that pretends to imitate the PORTRA 800 film, that I called without much inventiveness ALEX PORTRA. If you like let me know, I could propose it as a new preset on the shop.

Alex Coghe

Alex Coghe is an Italian editorial and documentary photographer based in Mexico City. His work explores contemporary life, culture, and human presence through documentary photography and portraiture. His images have appeared in international publications, reflecting an approach centered on authenticity, atmosphere, and visual storytelling. Alongside his photographic work, he also leads workshops and masterclasses focused on photographic narrative and observation.
