Photographs that keep faith with myself

In the street, I don't look for didactic photography. And in the essence of being in the place I can find moments that at least to me may seem interesting. Without pretension they are for everyone.

In poetry and songs, sometimes we limit ourselves to musicality. Sometimes the content is abstract thinking.

If there is one thing that I carry with me from Japanese photography it is that of the essence that goes beyond the didactic. If we accept photography as an expressive form comparable to poetry then the essence becomes at least as important as the content.

In my interest as a photographer, the sublimation of visual research in the street is often given by trying to put the atmosphere I feel in the frame. Colors and an attraction to a certain element become motivation to shoot. And it can be for apparently insignificant things. One of the photographers I most appreciate is Todd Hido. His work a clear example of how the atmosphere and the feeling are sticking out. The feeling emerges predominantly.

I don't photograph only with the intent to explain. In fact, most of the time I don't want to explain but rather put you in that dimension with me when I took the shot. Photography that moves from meditation to instinct causes a distinct reaction. At the time of shooting I find myself in a sort of limbo between the external and internal world. Through these two dimensions the photography at which I point is made concrete.
