Ricoh - The Book will be released soon

Those who have known me in recent years will be surprised by the photos featured in this book. But Ricoh - The Book will be appreciated by those in love with Japanese photography.

All the photos included in the book were made with a Ricoh GRD IV, a compact with a smaller sensor than the new GR series counting with an APS-C sensor.

Out of focus, dramatic tones and extreme contrast characterize the whole book clearly influenced by Daido Moriyama and Nobuyoshi Araki. The book will include some thoughts about the Ricoh cameras, a completely different experience respect to work with other cameras.

Consider this new editorial proposal an act of love at a perhaps darker period on a personal level which inevitably influenced the photographic work of that period but which at the same time opened the doors of art galleries to me. An extremely prolific period which, above all, in the year 2014 made me take more photos than in any other year. A time when I only counted with small cameras.

I really hope you can purchase this book guys, because I assure you is a different thing.
