So this was my last B&W film roll

Canon 7 + fomaOrtho 400 B&W

Is this really my last roll of black and white film? Yes. Really. And don't get me wrong. I'm satisfied with the results I'm about to share here with you. Perhaps it's the high costs of developing and black and white film that make me think I'll be shooting color film from now on.

About the fomaOrtho 400 B&W: I am very happy. The film emulsion produces results that I see close to certain black and white super contrasted photography. People in love with Japanese photography can love this film stock.

The work here was produced in several months, taking my time with the Canon model 7, my 35mm rangefinder camera. I love that I was able to to achieve certain photos that even don’t look made with a 50mm lens, they seem more with a 35mm focal lenght, but that was me, of course, my approach and my way to frame now.

I love the imperfection of these photographs. If I shoot film I want that. I look for the imperfection even in digital, and I shoot still film exactly for this. I love that light entering sometimes and creating particular light effects inside the frame.

So, that is: this is my last B&W film roll. And it was great.
