Straight Outta My Time

In this year my photography has evolved in small steps towards what is today a distinctive trait that will link all my future production.

Me. Alex Coghe, 2022

And it wasn't a linear path.

I am viewing from month to month and day to day the gièpa archived photos. It is noticeable even at the last stage. More than anything else, a change on an aesthetic level, removing more and more and going to the pulp. In my photography this year, the change of cameras also has a weight, to arrive today at a homogeneity of vision that allows me to be more relaxed.

Some of my photos this year were still affected by my decisions to have my photograph a little nostalgic, And this has to do with the presets (built by me) that I have decided to use in post production or some works. But at some point I decided to leave everything as natural as possible, respecting the chosen lenses and cameras. This is the most important upgrade for my photography this year: I arrived to the last part of the year changing (again) my approach and now I think to be in the definitive path.

This aesthetic will accompany both creative work and that considered more commercial. This instills even more confidence in what is now my vision, certainly enriched by an experience on cameras and lenses that only now I feel I have acquired perfectly. Today, as never before, I feel ready for the present and the future, with minimalist equipment but able to make me always ready for any photographic work that I intend to carry out.

This is to the advantage of my professional growth, certainly for the benefit of my customers, but also of this blog and what, for example, I can assure my partners who will find themselves wanting to present their products on this blog.

I'm ready.
