Street Photography in Guadalajara
As you know I was in Guadalajara for a journalistic coverage. And I discovered a great city for street photography despite I could make it only for 20 minutes in 3 days there. I thought that sharing the shots despite are pretty far from being that good is useful here.
I love the city. There is a special energy that makes it an ideal city for street photographers. And Guadalajara is a fantastic city for street photography due to its vibrant blend of historic architecture and dynamic street life.
The city boasts a fascinating mix of colonial-era buildings, colorful houses, modern structures, and plazas. Iconic spots like the Cathedral of Guadalajara, Plaza de Armas, and Mercado Libertad offer visually compelling backdrops, and these architectural gems are full of contrasts ideal for creating dynamic street scenes
Thanks to its location, Guadalajara often has bright yet soft light, especially in the mornings and evenings, which enhances textures and brings warmth to street photos. The light can make even simple scenes look magical, highlighting details and adding mood.
I fallen in love as a street photographer of the city. To the point that I am already working to propose one to one street photography experiences also there. I am pretty sure people would love to take a workshop with me in Guadalajara. Now the shots for you:
