Street Photography Tip 1
I am fascinated by the others. I always have been.
Street Photography is essentially about collecting images of people and street scenes. You photograph people you don’t know. And you photograph people without asking permission. That’s it.
Street photography is about confidence. It is about having clear in mind you are making something beautiful. And important. Just act like that. No fear of confrontation. Be ready to be yelled, but don’t think about this. Your body language and your facial expression will be fundamental. Smile, be polite and when is clear you took a photo of the person say thanks. A smile rules the word.
Another thing: Street Photography is thought provoking most of the time. When a portrait is part of the frame should question the viewer and not being just a portrait. Important is freezing a certain moment, that question mark expression in the face of the subject. I love it!
