Look for the detail.

In street photography the detail many times makes the photo.

It can be a gesture, or a facial expression. With the experience you know recognize it. On the street, knowing how to capture a simple but relevant moment of humanity becomes essential to obtain a good photograph.

Knowing how to grasp these moments derives from knowing how to read the moment and the human being. This is why I consider street photographers to be writers who use a camera instead of a pen.
