Street Photography Tip 17

Let’s talk about ethics.

A Street Photography code affirms that we shouldn't take pictures of vulnerable people on the street. And in general I can agree especially if it refers to a spectacularization and exploitation of poverty and hardship when it comes to street photography.

But we should take into account that I can't even self-think or hide what happens on the street, erasing the negative to show only the positive. If I want to have a document of what the streets of our cities are I need to consider anything the street proposes.

This is the reason why I consider that ethics is a discourse that concerns each of us as individuals, regardless of photographing something. Show me what kind of photographer you are and I will know more about you.
