The Wigfall Street Scene

I introduce you a definition, or a concept that I have in a determinate situation on the street.

Mexico City - 2022

When I find myself in particularly crowded street situations my mind goes to Joe Wigfall, a photographer I met thanks to flickr and with whom I was in contact. At one point he disappeared and nobody knows what happened, but his work remains on flickr and in a video you can admire his approach and vision of him.

For some time he also photographed with the Panasonic LX3: the scenes he captured showed all the energy of the street, with saturated compositions. The humanity is the main component on his work and, yes, also mine.

When I see busy streets and I capture certain scenes I say to myself: here we go with the Wigfall moment!

If someone has news about Joe, please let me know.
