The wrong photo

DSCF0217.jpg

I often reflect on my way of photographing and I see that it is quite dissonant compared to many. I am not looking for the beautiful photo and it is often in the dystonia that I base my visual research. I see how many photographers are obsessed with technique and are not interested in delving into the content.

Then there is a whole speech of photos that comfort that I don't care much. The photography that interests me is the one that leaves you uncomfortable, with a question mark, maybe even pisses you off.

Take this mocking photo. I got close to the official photographers and I literally stole a moment of preparation that gave me a tremendous moment. It is a portrait photography that is a fake portrait photography. There is a thoughtful man, one who passes behind and on the right the one turned and that would certainly ruin an official photo and in a certain sense he is me, not compliant with officialdom, mocking nationalism…and just behind him one with eyes closed, he seems to sleep. The others posing in a convinced way make the scene even more ridiculous.

And this is the reason why I consider it a street photograph. My Street Photography.
