Thoughts of a Street Photographer

Some of my best known phrases shared in the latest video posted on my channel…

Street Photography is for me a way of being in the world. It is not just photography. Watch the video. It includes some images from my last photo walk in Downtown.

I am interested in offering a more adult approach to the subject. I believe that street photography should come out of a kind of youthful idea of photography and really show its worth. This is why it is useful to offer ideas for dialogue that are more relevant than the banal posts that we find in most blogs on the internet. I'm not talking about going to sit in the good photography salons, I don't care. In those environments there are far too many fogies and old farts. Street photography has its own nobility that comes from decades of history. But we continue to stand on the sidewalk and not on satin armchairs, with pride.
