Why Canon is the next big thing for mirrorless cameras

In a very short time Canon seems to have bridged the gap with the competition. I am following with keen interest the development that proceeds without hesitation towards the mirrorless market.

The mark starting with F. seems to have stalled, and if the parable was initially exhilarating it now seems to have gotten a bit lost. Especially compared to Canon, Sony but also Panasonic. The autofocus of the brand with the F. fails to keep up and this is still a significant technological problem in 2022. Only Leica can afford not to present a very performing AF, but Leica is another thing, for better or for worse. Although Canon recently announced that it will discontinue the entire DSLR sector, it proves to be a receptive brand and is already offering a very interesting line of mirrorless cameras.

I am now at a crossroads on the choice of the next system for my work. While at the moment I am very satisfied with my Canon DSLRs cameras, for the future I have to decide. I've sold all F. cameras, i have only the XPro2 that is already out for sell. And now I am seriously looking to Canon mirrorless cameras. In particular there are 3 videos on youtube which are seriously making me consider switching to Canon competently. I share them here:

From observing the operation I feel that it could be the system that would work perfectly with my approach and my vision. Canon is an established brand, which has no technological problems as other companies sometimes reveal, and also with the new mirrorless line it shows absolute intelligence. I have deliberately left out the full frame speech even if it is to be considered as a demonstration of what Canon is.

Another thing to consider is no less important: Canon offers high-quality cameras at significantly cheaper prices than the competition. Coming from a brand (The F. brand) that has prices that are not in line with the actual value of the cameras and especially the lenses, this is a factor that I am absolutely taking into account.

The mirrorless proposed by camera present a modern concept, innovative, blinking the eye to smartphone shooters and youtubers thanks to the performances offered for videos. I like this idea to work with cameras that show to be sensitive to this.

Yes, I am thinking seriously to switch completely to Canon.
