Why you should consider the Day of the Dead Photo Expedition in Oaxaca
Traveling and photographing, I ask only this…
2019 has been the last Day of the Dead Photo Expedition we realized and it has been a success. We were extraordinarily happy and motivated to repeat it with the same formula that had contributed to the success, unfortunately we all know how 2020 was marked by the pandemic emergency of COVID19 and we were forced to cancel.
This year we want to do it. I want to do it. And in any case I will do. I will go to Oaxaca in any case. Sincerely I would prefer to make it by leading a new group, but I can do this also with just 1 or 2 participants.
More than anything in a photography expedition is important to offer to the participants a pleasant experience where harmony reigns in the group. Considering that we live together for several days this is fundamental and it is the duty of the leader to have psychological skills for this to work.
My Day of the Dead Photo Expedition is an extraordinary experience where photographers are called to give their best in order to document the traditional events in Oaxaca. Considering the difficulties with COVID19 emergency we are prepared also that Oaxaca governor can cancel most of the scheduled events.
I am not worry about that. Oaxaca is a unique location for photography and in any case also last year with anything cancelled there were things happening in Oaxaca. Families don’t stop the traditions even when the Day of the Dead is officially deleted.
By knowing perfectly Oaxaca I am able to offer you an important photographic and human experience in any case. I will say more: in the case there will be no many tourists it could be even better for us.
In order to give you an idea of what you can wait from my expedition I share some photos. I think the visual say more than thousands words:
A PRIVATE HOUSE FOR US
REAL HUMAN EXPERIENCES
EFFECTIVE TUITION
…AND OF COURSE, PHOTOGRAPHY
This was just a small selection and Oaxaca is much more than this. Prepare yourself for a unique experience in the south of Mexico, with fantastic food and yes, great Mezcal, a lot of fun and learning, the warm embrace of wonderful people.
With me you will be guaranteed a truly documentary workshop and the journey of a lifetime. I speak 3 languages: Italian, English and Spanish and this is a great thing because I have students coming from any part of the world.
Guys, I know perfectly the era we all are living is very difficult, and I don’t forget we have to respect the recommended sanitary measures. I can assure you that the experience in my photographic expedition guarantees the safety of all.
