Here we have a saying: if you lived in the barrio, you belong to the barrio forever. The fact is that literally barrio simply means neighborhood, but in Latin America there is a second meaning which indicates the popular, tough, often dangerous neighborhood. So here they are not just documentary photos, they include a metaphysical reflection, where existence and personal experience inevitably influence perception and therefore the visual proposal.
