MONOCHROM MAGAZINE Photography Awards
Curated by Alex Coghe, the MONOCHROM MAGAZINE Photography Award is a celebration of black-and-white photography, offering photographers the chance to have their work featured in the exclusive MONOCHROM MAGAZINE—a print-only publication. All the genres are welcome, but photos need to be in black and white.

Award Details
Final Destination: Winning photos will be featured in the biannual MONOCHROM MAGAZINE, a highly selective printed publication dedicated to showcasing the best in black-and-white photography.
Entry Fee:
Single Photo Entry: $5 per photo.
Project Entry: $10 for a project of up to 10 photos.
Eligibility:
Open to photographers worldwide, whether they shoot on film or digital.
Submissions must be in black and white.
Submission Guidelines:
Only black-and-white images are accepted.
Both film and digital formats are allowed.
Contest Deadlines:
The award runs twice a year, with deadlines on June 30 and December 31.
Winners will be announced shortly after the deadline, with the magazine issue released in the following months.
Recognition:
Winners will gain prestigious exposure by being featured in MONOCHROM MAGAZINE.
How to submit your work:
After the payment is realized thorugh this page, you need to send the photo(s) to alexcoghe.store@gmail,com
Please note: Photos need to be 1920 px wide, 72 dpi
When and how will you announce the winners?
We will notify you by email 1-2 weeks after the contest closes. The winners' work will then be featured in the upcoming issue of MONOCHROM MAGAZINE.
Can I enter photographs regardless of when they were taken?
Yes, eligibility is not dependent on when the photographs were created. You can submit images taken at any time.
Do I still own the rights to my images after I submit them to this contest?
Yes, you retain all rights to your images after submission. At alexcoghe.com, we respect your rights as a photographer and artist. We do not claim ownership, copyright, or moral rights to your work. We will not sell any entry to a third party, nor claim any rights to your images submitted in the competition.
Are AI-generated images allowed?
No, AI-generated images are strictly prohibited in this contest. Any participant who submits AI-generated images will be disqualified.
