Photography as resistance

Photography as an outpost of resistance to the advance of artificial intelligence. A political act. But in the awareness that photography and artificial intelligence are and will remain two very distinct things.

How would you judge a person who always stays at home compared to someone who lives a real life, outside?

Or it would be like thinking that someone who has sex with a doll is having sex with a real person. Both can do sexx but it is not the same and never will be.

But to truly express resistance to AI, you need to have an organic mind, exposed to and accepting error. Indeed, even seeking it out. Because imperfection has always been part of the history of photography that really matters.

It is not photography that is in crisis, but that photography that has always sought technical and formal perfection. And there is little you can do about that. Certain photography and certain photographers are destined to be replaced by AI because what they propose is perfectly superimposable to this new technology.

Real photography is in real life. This is my resistance. A politcal act.
