Not all of my photography is commissioned.

Alongside editorial assignments and commissioned work, I continue to photograph independently, following ideas, places and projects that often take years to develop.

A roll of film. A train or bus ticket. A trip to another city. A few days spent photographing without an assignment. Printing photographs. Making a small book or a zine.

These are the simple things that allow personal photography to continue.
