Yesterday in dowtown
As I often repeat, my street photography feeds on imperfection. I'm looking, for example, for a subject that passes in front of my lens and I don't care if it's all in a state of blur. For me street photography is skateboarding. Creating something through what happens on the street, what you encounter, and therefore it is humoral and based on instinct.
Based on this everything comes as a consequence. Yesterday morning the city woke up after the demonstration on March 8th. But I preferred to dedicate myself to something else and my art means something else. The journalism chased by everyone doesn't interest me and I remain a documentary photographer but looking for my stories. My choice to stop my collaboration with the agencies is my business and it reveals how inconsistent it is with everything that is told from time to time, almost always the same, in an ad libitum repetition of the usual annual events. This is how you become a photography employee and it's something I want to avoid. I want to have fun and making my own thing. Gallery:
