Rethinking space

Walking in the city isn't just about traversing space. It's about learning to observe what normally remains invisible. It's a lesson that comes from afar, from a certain idea of Italian photography that found in Luigi Ghirri one of its most lucid interpreters: observing the everyday with a calm gaze, without seeking the exceptional, but rather allowing things themselves to reveal themselves.

Yesterday's photographs are born precisely from this attitude. No pursuit of the spectacular, no sensational gestures. Just the pleasure of walking through the city center and recognizing how the city, in its most ordinary forms, continues to construct images before our eyes. Sometimes it's enough to stop for a moment. And look more closely.
