I have always put the aesthetics I want to give to the photos I take at the center

Aesthetics is the dress I put on the content and therefore it is very important. Mine is an irregular content, which doesn't care about the fashions of the moment, but rather must respond to those dynamics that lead me to press the shutter button of my camera.

A fundamental thing in my approach is that regardless of whether it is film or digital, I have to transcend the idea of compositional orthodoxy. Because if I advance, I walk slouchingly or quickly, this must be felt inside the photo.

I was introduced to photography by a cheap, plastic camera, the Fujica MA1. I have never had a nerd approach and rather than delving into technical issues I delve into life. And my photography must reflect life, not technique as an end in itself.

All this talk to introduce today's photographs. They were made with my Sony α6000. You see photos JPG straight from the camera, just a little smoothed out in post production on Lightroom. I read a lot of people arguing that Sony cameras are boring, and I disagree. There is a lot of bad talk about the JPGs of Sony cameras. To read them it seems that JPGs can’t be considered at all and you have to work only the RAW files. Well, cleaqrly this is another evidence I don’t think like others.

The fact is that I find Sony JPG files very filmy. I was surprised by that, but that is. My way to work meets a great satisfaction in seeing this result.
