alex street archive: b&w and the spirit of street

I have these photos and I wanted to share them here

Introduction

This is the post with the most photographs included that I have ever posted. I thought it like this and I wanted it like this.

Most of the photographs here were taken in color, but contrary to my usual practice, I decided to convert them to black and white.

I decided to do it to better respond to my vision and because, I believe, there is no better photographic gift that can be given to people than to give them a different dimension, that of black and white.

While I was doing this selection and conversion work I realized how many times, even though I shoot in color, my vision is absolutely that of a black and white photographer.

While I am aware that posting so many photos all at once is a risky choice and only risks exposing myself in a negative way in front of the majority, I feel that I had to do this to give greater dignity to moments that I have also discarded and to which I have not given the right weight in the past.

I am also perfectly sure that many will discover a different photographer, in some way.
