Saturday, Downtown in color

New roll. Color. The street. My camera. The hot weather.

The photography that belongs to me relies a lot on aesthetics and on details in the image that can be consistent. For example the sky. A sky that must render in a certain way. And then the rendering phase cannot be underestimated. It starts in camera with my camera and my choices, my settings. I change a lot. Still changing, but the goals are always the same. And from an aesthetic point of view I expect the image to be a certain way. The photos:

Alex Coghe is an Italian editorial and documentary photographer based in Mexico City. His work explores contemporary life, culture, and human presence through documentary photography and portraiture.
