Few shots this morning

I strip away all the sensationalism. I avoid the "wow" factor. I shy away from the idea that there has to be an event in order to take photographs. Photograph without an event. Without something happening, and then we’ll see.

When something actually happens, even Aunt Ofelia manages to do something. But without it? Well, exactly...

And, by the way, I’ve noticed something: most street photography "projects" are pointless.

Perhaps that is precisely why I am moving away from street photography. And perhaps the galleries are right to turn up their noses at it. But would you really want to hang a photo of some stranger walking down the street on the wall of your home?
