Yesterday. An hour in Coyoacan.

Most of the street photographs you see in festivals today are the result of heavy post-production.
Don’t believe what they say: they lie.
You can see it. These images are heavily manipulated through zonal editing that covers the entire frame. Everything is excessive: contrast, clarity sliders pushed to the limit, selective color corrections everywhere.

It’s their choice, sure. But am I not free to say that I simply don’t like the final result?

As I wrote in my most recent piece on Fotoreportando, my idea of photography is something completely distant from current trends.
