After 11 years I met a friend here in Mexico City
I have a picture of him looking at the print of one of my three photos hanging on the wall of the Think Tank gallery in Los Angeles. It was on that occasion that I met Todd. During those three weeks in California we also went to eat in a Vietnamese restaurant in DTLA.
Todd Hatakeyama had a gallery in Los Angeles that bore the same surname as him. But lately I found out that he moved here to Mexico City and so we made arrangements to meet over coffee. It was a pleasure to talk to him, also recalling my Californian experience which was important to me, revealing itself as a starting point for developing my photography career.

In 2011 I sent a portfolio of pictures for the competition YOU ARE HERE in Los Angeles, California, organized by THINK TANK GALLERY. I was contacted by phone because I was one of the 32 photographers selected and invited to participate.
This is the book of that fantastic experience. Still a milestone on my career.
