An inspired street photographer 8
One of the last photos made shows a location where I am used to make photos in Mexico city downtown
And this year I have already photographed the man with the orange flag, a parking attendant.
The place of the shot is in the street that gives life to the Chinatown of Mexico City. In this shot I was looking for a composition capable of suggesting how interesting it is because the area is very crowded and eventful. The dynamism I managed to capture wins. Every part of the frame is interesting. It represents a lot of the area and this is already a reason for satisfaction.
The dynamics that occur when I shoot a lot is suggested by the energy I want to capture. Even my way of photographing in this sense is based a lot on energy and on photographing at the last useful moment. An approach that exposes me perhaps more than other street photographers to failure.
Nothing is really prepared or studied. Sometimes I can preview but it's not my classic way of working. Rather it is instinct that allows me to raise the camera and shoot when I think it's time to do it. And what happens seems to me almost a magical event.
Me and mine being there at that given moment. My decision. My moving in a certain way and framing by looking at the scene in front of me. It is magic. Or at least I think so.
