April

April is a selection of photos taken during a quick outing from home last night

But it is also much more than that. It represents the beginning of something more important than a simple selection of photos. These photographs show that my photography is acquiring a different status. I am leaving behind certain chains to open up to what is truly my interest as an author photographer.

I am moving towards the inner story and I want to explore my state of mind through poetry that has always moved me. I have nothing left to prove as a professional photographer. Everyone can see who the clients are that I work with and have worked with. But I feel that there is still a long way to go before I am understood as an author.

Although I believe there are traces of this in over a decade of activity I still feel limited in the presentation of what is my inner dimension that I want to bring out through my photography. Now I am freer to be able to do it.

April is a journey. An emotional journey into a state of mind of that moment, yet very close to what the inner world is. I will do everything to make it emerge even more and make it much more visible in my photography and in my trajectory as an author.
