Dimensions of my photographing

Yesterday I was on the street and among the other photos realized there is this:

Trash. Alex Coghe, 2022

This is one of the warm-up shots. Those made early in the morning, when the real energy still has to take over the city. Nothing serious, therefore, but they are photos that are preparatory to what will come in the course of the day.

The dimensions of my photographing are multiple and depend on the experience of that moment. The connection of who I am in that moment is close, I refer to the state of mind but also what I can give in that specific context and situation. The city sometimes gives off a nauseating stench, it smells like shit and urine, or garbage on the ground. But even that, if not above all that, is the identity of the metropolis and above all of a megalopolis.

Everything depends on you. How much truth are you willing to unearth?
