Grainery: the “instagram” for film photographers
Guys, there is a new social network that is dedicated to film photography.
In an era of everything electronic, where we are also taking away the pleasure of framing through an optical viewfinder and where people absurdly started to collect memorabilia in encrypted electronic beats (who said NFT?) there is still a lot of interest in analog, from vinyl to photographic film. And guys, in the case of photography, this in spite of a world that is doing everything to erase photography itself.
The photography brands, with some gold exceptions, are all for the cancellation of chemical photography. We have to be aware of this, also to consider the cameras manufacturer for what they are. But the community of film photography enthusiasts is large and despite the difficulties also young people discover this wonderful world of making and understanding photography.
In this panorama, a social network now emerges that aims to be a space for those who still shoot on film. This social is called grainery and today I am here to present it to you. Check out the social here:
There is also a video on youtube from one of the members:
Of course I am already in and you can find me here:
We need to support this project if we care about film photography. We need to change the progress that they want to sell us. Because their idea that progress is verified through the advancement of technology is a completely wrong and anti-human idea. This is the reason why also supporting the film photography community is so important. It is a social and political act.
