Highlights November 2021

A good month, this month:

I was also in Oaxaca this month, so could not be no photos from there. Lost in a barrio I made this one.

I like how I managed the light on this shot. I like also that because of the contrast the subject seems to fly.

I included in this month selection this photography because it represents a back to certain observations of the shadows. I am not anymore into that, but i like this photo.

The second photograph made in Oaxaca included in this selection presents a fashionista and minimalist approach that reminds me of so much photography from the 80s that I learned to see in glossy magazines. Essentially the shot is about this.

I was in Ocotlan, waiting to take a mototaxi and with the mezcal still not lowering its effect.

As a photographer I am very concerned with offering a portrait of the place, its essence.

The second shot that made the an inspired street photographer column on this blog. I nailed it with dynamism.

Sometimes by dint of thinking we are invisible we forget the importance of being in the scene and fill it with our presence, to interact too. Going beyond street photography and its rules, I am ultimately a Pecker interested in humanity.

Just this morning i published some thoughts about this picture made yesterday. I don’t want to repeat myself. Enjoy the pink!

An image that I wanted to take because it reveals a lot of how many people are. A photo that is perhaps and at the same time a cry of pain and hope. What can we cling to today? To prayer? To reality? And what reality? The terrible one they tell us? What we know with our experiencing it firsthand?
