Lee Friedlander, mannequins and me

Yesterday I photographed in downtown. And I made that:

Yesterday was the birthday of Lee Friedlander, a photographer for whom I have never hidden my deep admiration. I didn't know it was her birthday, a friend told me this morning. But yesterday I made this photo. It means a lot to me. First of all because I back to photograph yesterday after a lot of time. And then…the mannequins. Friedlander. Me. Just like my reference in Los Angeles, California…with the photo you see on the splash page of this website.

Anyway yesterday I made also this one:

It is funny that the I don’t dare to share this photo on facebook and instagram. That stupid algorithm they use may block my account again…
