Stories from the ghetto

Which is not really a ghetto but resembles us in terms of aesthetics and attitude…

Under the overpass - Mexico City, 2021

The metropolitan has always been thrilling me. The metropolitan understood as a tarmac jungle a bit dangerous, dirty, you never know what can happen.

For those who believe that being a street photographer is just a matter of photographing. No. That's not exactly how it works. A photographer was offended when I said that street photography is not for jocks.

Mexico City in its popular neighborhoods resembles the Bronx of the 70s. And I do street photography there too. I do my own thing which means to represent the environments that I usually hang out, sometimes explore. I take risks, of course.

If you have no idea of the dark adventure that is to photograph under an overpass, I'll take you there.
