How to use reflections in a way that works in your Street Photography?

Well, this website has the splash page with a photograph well known that I made in Los Angeles in 2011. For a time I passed a lot of time photographing escaparates.

In my experience I can say that to have an effective image you need to think as if you are composing for a double exposure: usually I will choose an interesting subject inside the store, and that should be the reason why you want to make a photograph.

Based on that subject you should consider the composition through the evaluation of how the reflection of the outside world will turn out and therefore whether to include yourself or not, if there are interesting objects or subjects that can make the photograph more dynamic and interesting.

You must also learn to see a certain way and therefore know how to exploit the chaos caused by reflections because the success or not of the photo will depend on that. The posture and expression of the subject are also very important.

In a certain way to photograph reflections is another kind of photography that can lead you to great results!
