THE SELECTION

I like it. It is mysterious. It is urban. I like how the black and white is readable here.

Far from a perfect shot. I know. But it deserves recognition, if only because I actually shot him in the face, at 24mm.

This month's highlights include two photographs taken with the rangefinder. In one, the creative blur, in the other, a good test of layering. Come on, it's fine like this.

Yes, I know, it's a photo at an event. But I don't give a damn about joining. This photo deserves to be here.

These two shots demonstrate the presence of two souls that move me. And I believe that one cannot exist without the other. I try to satisfy both, in a constant visual dichotomy that leads to a different approach even on the same day.

Seriously: how many street photographers do you know who actually shoot in their neighborhood? Well, at least you know one.

THOUGHTS

It's not easy to resist and stick to the 10-photo limit. So, you know, I also had other photos of the same level this month that I had to leave out. I feel powerful.
