Street Photography Tip 7
Here we go with the tip 7 and some considerations about luck when it comes to street photography. What is luck? And why you have to consider this just as an event happened and not something that you have been looking for? Guys, let's get rid of the idea of luck already and consider the word persistence instead. Because she is the one that will make you meet Lady Luck.
This is a rather old photo, one of the first taken in Mexico City, to be precise 01-22-2010 . With my wife we were in Downtown to choose the rings of the upcoming wedding. And yes, I couldn't believe what I saw as an urban cowboy riding a plastic median with Mexico City written on it. Perfect. But Lady Luck helped me. First of all the merit to me to see the scene and framing and pressing the shutter button, but thanks Lady Luck because that van running fast created a fundamental plus, giving us the idea that he was riding a horse!
To meet luck, and this is my tip, we have to propitiate events, go to the streets as much as we can and be ready. From every stimulus we have to react as we know: by taking a picture.
