Today I talk about…me

Hey everyone, today, I want to share a bit about how my recent achievements have brought me a sense of serenity, and how this has influenced my journey in photography.

Achievements aren't just about accolades; they're about personal growth and finding peace in what you do. The fact to see all over these years, art directors trust in me and hire me for assignments is the best confirmation I can ever have. And add the fact that now is more difficult than in the past. AI is already deleting, for some brands, the importance of photographers, models, hair stylists. This is not going to happen anyway for everything.

Lately, I've been reflecting on how far I've come as a photographer. Frombeing hired by Leica to work on assignment for L’EQUIPE and having my work published on France Football, each step has been a testament to my dedication and efforts to improve as a photographer. These achievements have not only enhanced my professional standing but also brought a deeper sense of fulfillment and calmness to my work.

Serenity in photography isn't just about capturing stunning images: it's about evolving as an artist. My focus on black-and-white photography, for instance, has allowed me to delve into emotions and expressions more deeply than ever before. It's a style that resonates with my vision of storytelling through images: raw, authentic, and focused on emotions. It is also a political act in this world where today we see more and more sloppiness and everything consumed quickly without giving oneself time to reflect on the real value of things. A rampant sloppiness that I observe in everything, from music to cinema to the way people dress. How sad to see men of 60/70 years dressed like 8 year old boys! It seems that a man's standard uniform is now a baseball cap, t-shirt and Bermuda shorts. Sorry but I find this very sad. Sad and sloppy.

Moreover, this journey has taught me the importance of authenticity and staying true to my artistic instincts: no more concessions, I have to respect only my vision and my photography. Whether I'm shooting on the bustling streets of Mexico City or in the quiet corners of my studio, each photograph tells a story that reflects not only my subjects but also my state of mind.

As I continue to grow and evolve, I aim to inspire others through my work. Photography is more than just a profession for me. it is my obsessions and my life. All over these years i didn’t think just to myself anyway: if we love photography we need to make things for others. I could achieve to help other photographers, but also families. I put at the service, also for free, for a right reason my photography.

Oh…I forgot it…I am busy with writing a book. It will be a novel. And I will publish it here. Yes, I prefer my shop than waiting to find a publisher. the world is more and more complicated. And I just want to share with people who will love to have a…different…book from a person that is, so far, more known just as a photographer. I don’t know when it will be completed yet. But I wanted to share this news with you.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. It means a lot to me to have here and on my social, in my YouTube channel people really interested and enjoying my content.
