Visually provoking

Japanese photography has influenced me and continues to do so.

Lips - 2022

I took this photo a few days ago.

There are details on the street that I photograph because they seem to me interesting fragments that I want to take away with me. Sometimes we forget that photography is something we do for ourselves and what we take with our cameras, in a sense, is a way to own it.

The experience of photographing in the street becomes therefore exciting because it is like when we were children and in a toy store we would have liked to have them all or almost. In detail or in the extreme close up I can find an image that stimulates me a lot visually.

As a photographer I think the final destination of my photography is the prints and books I publish and based on that I produce images.
