Dia De Muertos: You Have To Experience It

In less than a week I will give my Private Dia de Muertos Photography Experience. And no, it will be not a group workshop by the moment I don’t offer anymore group workshops and expeditions. I will be there with only 1 photographer. nTo celebrate I want to share here some photos I made in the past in Oaxaca and Mexico City.

I keep the place of our photography expedition secret. It is not Mexico City, it is not Oaxaca. Oaxaca became more and more a place that period of the year where tourists and photography workshops made everything not that enjoyable especially for a photographer like who enjoys to photograph where the other photographers don’t go.

For Oaxaca, if anyone really wants a photographic experience there, which I don't recommend given the current situation, you have to make a reservation in January or February. Currently, almost everything is sold out, or they'll rent you a house for an absurd amount, something like 4000 US$ for 4 days.

I can see as most of photographers back with the same images. I don’t want that and I will not that so I call myself out from that. Oaxaca continues to be my loved place but, please, give it to me in all the other periods of the year, not dia de muertos.

So I am happy to do it in another place, where photographers will not go. I count to update on this experience in the next weeks.
