How I make a life as a street photographer

Having well over 10 years of career as a professional photographer I can say it. It is a secret that is not a secret. Just like my photos what you see is what I get.

Essentially my entire work as a photographer is heavily influenced by being a street photographer. I managed to carve out a very specific and in some way unique role in this business. My activity is a galaxy including several jobs:

• MARKETING

• CURATOR

• PHOTO EDITOR

The income comes from the various activities, in particular:

• ASSIGNMENTS

• PRINTS

• BOOKS

• PHOTO SERVICES FOR MODELS

• WORKSHOPS AND EXPEDITIONS

I don’t consider my activity as commercial photographer a different thing from being a street photographer because I am perfectly aware that thanks to my photographic approach in street photography I achieved to have that particular gaze and aethetics for the portraits I realize on assignment for clients. Whether they are portraits or erotic photography, events or street style fashion the influence of street photography is evident and exactly for that the brands and private clients hire me.
